EKP V
The EKP V is a multifunctional instrument that can be mounted in your panel but can also be used as a portable unit, in both landscape and portrait mode. The screen is slim (21 mm) and powerful, with a built-in battery, u-blox 6 GPS receiver and speakers.
The heart of your panel
Thanks to the (optional) docking station, the EKP V can simultaneously connect to various other equipment on board, such as an autopilot, video camera or EFIS. The 7 inch LCD screen is multifunctional and capable of displaying different types of data relevant to your flight.
It is very easy to adjust the location of the information on the screen. You can choose which data you want to see and where; map, taws, nav data, HSI or EFIS AvMAP (optional).
Approach procedures and aerodome charts
The EKP V contains standard approach procedures and aerodome charts from airports in forty European countries.
Simple to use
The new keyboard includes a configurable key, a progressive joystick and a thumbwheel. The interface is direct and makes it very easy to search for data with the full virtual keyboard you can use on the screen.
AvMap Suite
You can download and install the Avmap Suite for free on Windows and Mac computers to connect your EKP V to the app via USB. This allows you, among other things:
- Update EKP V software
- Update EKP V maps
- Export and import flight plans, waypoints and routes
- Make backups
Accessories
- A2 ADAHRS (Air Data, Attitude and Heading Reference System); shows speed, altitude, attitude and direction of the aircraft on the display; This is how you turn your EKP V into an EFIS.
